About DystO

DystO is a meta-search engine. It asks several independent search engines on your behalf, merges what they return, and shows you the result — without an account, without a profile, and without a single line of JavaScript.

How it works

Your query is sent from this server, not from your browser. The engines see this instance; they never see you. Thumbnails are fetched here too and relayed, so browsing image results does not open a connection to any third party.

Engines consulted

Google, Mojeek, Brave, DuckDuckGo, Qwant, Bing, Google, Yep, Ecosia, Startpage, Mwmbl, Crowdview, Marginalia, Curlie, wiby for the web, plus dedicated sources for images, videos, torrents and hidden services. In Auto mode several are queried at once and their results interleaved; picking one explicitly uses only that engine, falling back only if it is unreachable.
